Here's the information for the second barrel aged bomber. Again - would like to keep the emails and drafts for these two separate, if possible.
Here's the basic premise. Each year we're working with Patuxent Wine and Spirits to put out a beer that highlights some aspect of Calvert Country. This year we're highlighting the rural history, and beauty of the landscape. We've teamed up with a local photographer for the basic front art. Basically we're thinking about featuring a photo, with a fade on the edges to accommodate text in the same format we usually use. We'll take your artistic advice though. All the photos are below - I chose ones that are slightly distant and include the full barn. There are others, and feel free to choose whatever one will work the best. http://dunksphoto.com/2016/04/barns-of-calvert-county-photo-a-day-project-march/
Front Information (Please fit however you see fit...all the text is on the back, but I thought it might be a good idea to highlight some on the front too...what do you think?):
Collaboration with Patuxent Wine & Spirits, Calvert County Series, 2017
Imperial Stout aged for 6 months in a Tom's Foolery Bourbon Barrel with Vanilla beans, Coco Nibs, & Coffee Beans
For the second time, a collaboration between Calvert Brewing Company and Patuxent Wine & Spirits, as part of our Calvert County Series. With this beer we honor the rural history of this county, and the beautiful, often under appreciated landscape.
This time we bring you an Imperial Stout, aged on vanilla beans, coco nibs and coffee beans in a Tom's Foolery Bourbon Barrel. Cozy up with this brew and spend some time remembering the beauty that surrounds you, as your senses are inundated by pungent aromas of vanilla and coffee, followed by a roasty cocoa kick, both balanced by the mellowing effects from time spent in a fine bourbon barrel.
12% Alc. by Vol.
1 Pint, 6 fl. oz.
Other Info for label:
Label photography is by Brittany Dunks, a local wedding photographer who spent a year taking a photo/day of a barn in Calvert County. @barnsofcalvert
It was nice chatting with you for a few minutes. I like the ones you sent and I am attaching some other favorites. I can send you more info on where and possibly track down the owner of the barn, once you know what image you want to use.
I do have all of them posted in an easy to view gallery, if you want to keep looking:
Let me know what you decide to use, if you do and if you need anything else from me! I look forward to hearing back from you.
